- Credit History – The prospective tenant's credit history informs us about the applicant’s current and past performance as far as debts and other obligations. The potential tenant’s credit report also tells us their monthly debt and shows their previous addresses (which we compare to addresses listed on the application). An applicant must have acceptable credit to qualify.
- Income Verification – Our local operation verifies job status, salary, prospects for continued employment and job title. Depending upon the possible lessee's debt load, a tenant needs to earn at least 3 to 4 times the monthly rent in gross income to qualify for rental.
- Tenant Screening – Nesbitt Realty screens tenants with a combination of checking credit history, background, eviction and criminal screening services as well as our own efforts to collect information needed to confirm and process the application.
